Each desktop can be configured to have a password and specific default programs.

In these examples/screenshots urVirtualDesktops has been configured to have three desktops in addition to the default instance -- Mail, Internet, and Docs. So, one can easily switch between the desktops for division of labor -- the Mail desktop is running a mail program, the Internet desktop is running browser windows, and the Docs desktop has a word processor window active. This allows for easy separation of windows and much better use of screen space.
